Hi,

For one of the web site that I am working on, I need to show a progress bar while some web service calls are in progress. Obviously while the web service call is in progress, the javascript does not have any idea how much percent of the call completed and cannot precisely predict the total waiting time.

I would rather not go outside jquery for a UI solution, so I can keep the site comparatively simpler in terms of architecture.

I read somewhere before that jquery has a progress bar, but didn't seem to fit the situation described above. If anybody can share some ideas or experience, it will be great!
