Using jQuery 1.4.1, jQuery UI 1.8a1.

Following the documentation at: http://docs.jquery.com/UI/Autocomplete

I am getting a javascript error: .autocomplete is not a function. Is this functionally not included in jQuery UI 1.8 even though the documentation says it is? I also went into my jQuery-ui.js file did a search for autocomplete, with no results found.
