JQuery UI Dialog Box: How can I make the buttons and fonts smaller?

I know it sounds like a lame question, but I am new to JQuery UI and an intermediate CSS person. How can I make the fonts and buttons in a JQuery UI dialog box smaller? Which file and CSS definition would I go to....or would I make my own CSS. I'm using the microsoft/redmond theme.

Just add this CSS to your main page:

.ui-dialog { font-size: 10px; }

Thanks.

It worked when I put it into the screen inside of an embedded style tag in the header.

It didn't work when I put it inside of a CSS file ( I made sure that the call to that CSS file was beneath the call to the JQuery CSS files )

I recommend that you use Google Chrome's developer tools to find out why it is being overridden. Or you may also try developer tools in other browsers. It will be a good start.
