jQueryUI Menu sub menus not showing correctly in IE8

My menu is ALMOST there. The only problem I'm having now is some submenus are stretching all the way across the page, and sometimes off the page, in the dreaded IE8.

Here's a screenshot:

Can anyone make a recommendation on how to stop this behavior?

Looks like you have some custom CSS happening in your menus, could that be causing issues? I would recommend creating a fiddle and see if you can replicate.

I couldn't find any problems with CSS, but that doesn't mean there wasn't.

I just added max-width: 290px; to my ui-menu class, and that seems to have fixed it.

.ui-menu {

list-style: none;

padding: 2px;

margin: 0;

display: block;

outline: none;

max-width: 290px;

}
