Lightbox inside Accordion

I have an inline lightbox that I have placed inside a jquery accordion.
For some reason, when I click to open the lightbox, the accordion closes
automatically (I'm sure the lightbox is removing the
"active" class from the accordion tab) Any suggestions on how
to get the lightbox not to do this and just appear over the open
accordion tab?
