I'm using the Cycle plugin and it's working great and I even got links to work.. the only thing is that the slides (invisibly) with the links somehow extend to the left and outside of its' element blocking the nav menu. It only happens on the linked slides. You won't see it in the updated browsers but IE8 shows it.

Either way while the linked slides are showing you won't be able to use the nav menu on the left.
