ListView and swipe detection problem

in my native browser，When I am scrolling the li，it is very smooth

[before]

<li>Subject 1</li>

<li>Subject 2</li>

<li>Subject 3</li>

<li>Subject 4</li>

<li>Subject 5</li>

.....

</ul>

However(only one line), I just add a "slide to the right" detection code (function is normal too) , the original smooth effect becomes very delay and caton

[after]

$(document).on("swiperight", function(event, ui) { alert("right") });

<li>Subject 1</li>

<li>Subject 2</li>

<li>Subject 3</li>

<li>Subject 4</li>

<li>Subject 5</li>

.....

</ul>

please help me，what should I doㄚ_ㄚ

I am Android 4.11 Asus Pad Trandformer(TF201)

Not quite sure what might also might be causing an issue for you without seeing more code, however you are now attaching this event to the 'whole document'.

Try something like this:

<ul data-filter="true" data-filter-placeholder="keywords" data-inset="true" data-role="listview" class="detectswipe">

$(document).on("swiperight", ".detectswipe", function(event, ui) { alert("right") });

But Still does not work
just add a "slide to the right" detection code, and when I slide it becomes slow

I tested three cases

My computer，Chrome Explorer：Everything OK，NO SLOW

My phone，HTC Sensation XL，Native Explorer：Sometimes two or three times before sliding was detected, but when I scroll the listview，it is not slow

My Tablet，Asus Trandformer Pad，Native Explorer：Slide is immediately detected，never mistakes, but when I Scroll the listview，there will be very obvious Caton(Must be The highly sliding speed)

I tested your page on an iPhone 4S with iOS 5.1 and it seemed fine. It did seem to detect swipe when I was just trying to scroll though. Perhaps you could try adjusting some of the thresholds here:

Everything will smooth when I set scrollSupressionThreshold to 100（100 Just one least likely more smooth Digital，Perhaps can try other Digital，But to me it is Suitable）

Can you tell me why the scrollSupressionThreshold thresholds help me solve the problem

Why IOS has always maybe been normal, and Android maybe need adjusting them

Official Website told me use that

$(window).on("swipe", function(event) { ... } );

But I use that before

$(document).on("swipe", function(event, ui) { ... } );

all of them are all work

which one is better XD

To your question window uses the full window, document uses the document... They will be identical for your case. What you should do is add a specific element you want this function - for example your listview.

$(document).on("swiperight", ".mylistclass", function(....))};
