jQuery Forum

Wow ! that's hot.  I'm going to look at the demos.  Being new to all of this is daunting and overwhelming however, If I could implement half of the features outlined I'd be thrilled. 

 

1)      I see it mentioned HTML5, I'm using ASP.Net MVC 3 does this make a difference?

 

2)      I've only started learning MVC a couple months ago and JQuery a couple weeks ago.  The example you pointed me too offers a demo though would you be able to offer some additional links where i could learn how the JQuery Grid works, or some videos on how to implement JQuery grids?

 

3)      I've found the following: http://www.trirand.net/demoaspnetmvc.aspx.  how does this differ from the grid you suggested?  I need to be able to filter and edit rows.  the object of the game is for the users to be able to find a particular record and then be able to edit it.

I really like your suggestion for the JQuery widgets.  They offer great filtering and sorting features, along with real simple editing ability.  so far I haven't seen the same in other grids and tools.
