Nesting tabs inside jQuery Tools scrollable

I'm wondering if it's possible to nest tabs inside a scrollable from jQuery Tools. Basically, replacing the page content with a set of tabs. I've tried a few times, and with the jQuery native tabs, there must either be some JS or CSS conflicts that prevent things from working properly.
