the s.success.call error should be happening when using the local script just like when using the online script. Are you trying to run it locally? you may be running into a permissions problem that is not allowing your html page access to the jquery.js

Thanks for your reply. Actually I try to do the task with two different files giving the same purpose.

1 - First file is jquery-1.2.pack
2 - Second file is "http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.js"

Both of the file give different errors. First file give $ is not defined. Second one give s.success error.

Also I cleared the bracket but no change. And can you elaborate what is meant by permission given to html page ?

then your path should be <script type="text/javascript" src="scripts/jquery-1.2.pack"></script> with your scripts folder name and jquery.js name of course. do you have a page up that we can see to figure out whats goin on?
