Offtopic about W3C
in Using jQuery

Hi.
Firstly, jquery is a good product.
Im using it sereval years. With jquery i did a lot of "interesting things" with a little effort.
May be this be an Offtopic but i dont found ohter place for ask this question:
Actually the web www.jquery.com only has 1 w3c error easily fix.
Only changing one little thing, the web was W3C compliant
"Line 75, Column 34:" --> change action="" by action="."
Whats the reason of this?
What do you think about the W3C recomendations?
