Turn.js is great and does exactly what I want it to do ... on my computer. But when I upload it to WordPress, it doesn't work.
I downloaded the version of jQuery that WordPress is using (1.11) and tested using that and it did not work. Reverting back to the version that comes with the samples (1.7), it works again.
My conclusion: something changed between 1.7 and 1.11.
It comes with a min version of 1.7, but I don't know what that means, just thought I'd mention it, if it helps.
Turn.js is available on
turnjs.comThere is a GitHub entry that suggests the author is no longer updating it.
WordPress also includes jQuery-migrate.min.js version 1.4.1
which I understood should mitigate any problems that arise from changes in newer versions of jQuery, but I downloaded that and tried it on my computer and it also did not work.
Sooooo, is there a quick fix for this? I have no idea what any of the coding is, means or does.
I've tried looking for other such plugins but none are as good as this, and the better ones want money, which I can't afford.
Thanks!
