In that case, how aboutAll the text is there because if the link is displayed immediately in the top left of the page, you can't really tell that the dialog isn't positioned relative to it.
Absolutely, yes. If it's possible to show the issue with $("<div></div>").dialog({ position: { ... }); then that should be the test case. 1 line of code is easier to read and debug than 100, or even 50. If it needs to be more than 1 line it should only be the absolute minimal amount more.I can remove the validation code and some of the fields on the dialog, since it's only the position that I need help with - would that make it better?
