Problem with animation

(this is not a repost. the code has been refined and corrected)

I have a simple problem with my webpage.

When I click the arrow on any navigation link it should hide the menu and open a content menu. This works correctly. (see the web page to see what i mean).

However when I press the arrow again, It's meant to close the content menu and show the navigation links again. Although this works correctly there is a delay in the animation for no apparent reason. PLEASE HELP!!! I made another version of this where there is no animation delay, but the height values don't change. Please help!!!

I can't see any urls in your topic. So I cant check what happen exactly!

What i now found is that when you click the arrow to open the menu and soon click it again to close it, there is that animation delay.

BUT if instead you wait about 5sec before closing it again there is no animation delay (so it may be a performance issue).

just something that i hope will help you to help me to solve the problem.
