problem with post back using tabs

hi all
fairly new to JQuery.
I am developing a site for client in a pretty poor eCom / CMS site which is restricting in what can be done in the sense of design and development.
A requirement was to use the tabs function to split up the page content. I have implemented the tabs element from JQuery, however, if there is any post backs on the page, it basically removes the code. Please see below:

If you click on SIZE and select a different value, on the post back, the tabs disappear.
