.replaceWith + .hover problem

I am very new to jquery. I started this morning. :D I really need your help because i dont know what i'm doing wrong. What i'm trying to do is replace a div content with a other div when i hover div home. Could you guys please tell me what i'm doing wrong ?

$(document).ready(function()
{
$("div.home").hover(
function (){
$("div.content").replaceWith('<div class="content">Home</div>');
},
function (){
$("div.content").replaceWith('<div class="content">Welkom</div>');
});
)};

try this:

$(document).ready(function()
{
$("div.home").hover(
function (){
$("div.content").html('<b>Home</b>');
},
function (){
$("div.content").html('<i>Welkom</i>');
})
});

Thank you. It works perfectly.

For the people who are as new at this as i am. You need to use class="" for this to work instead of id=""

that's not right, you can also use id...
but than you have to select the id "#" not the class "."

$("div#home").hover(
function (){
$("div#content").html('<b>Home</b>');
},
function (){
$("div#content").html('<i>Welkom</i>');
})
});
