Thanks for quick reply But I think I wasn't clear with my issue.

1. If you notice, once draggable item is dropped outside of droppable area, it doesn't go back to its initial position. It's top-left is changed. I want to maintain initial position. so can you help with that?

2. Once item is dropped in droppable area, isn't it possible to let that cover entire droppable area. In this case, there won't be rotated box, it will be simply like that small box covers entire bix droppable box.

Let's take example of first small box, look at its initial position which is left:0% and top:5% which is given in css, now if you drop that box outside of droppable area then it's top and left is changed so it doesn't go back to exact position which it was when the page is loaded. I hope I am clear now.

2. Yes, so that it looks like that box is covering the dropped box (I want to show like that dropped box is within big box so it can be like big box and within it there's small box - so theer might be some borders like area showing of big box and small box will be within it)

I agree. I understood that. But my basic question was re-positioning of draggable items to its eaxct initial position.

Droppable leaves the computed css on the element. So as soon as it is done with it’s incorrect reverting, I get rid of its css.

And if I do 499 and 500, then sometimes it breaks the code and position doesn't get reset to initial ones.

And with 450 and 500,  one can see box coming down little bit after re-position.

Is it possible to use the code in dragend event in place of revert function so that this little fluctuation can be avoided?

I will need to try the values but I think 450-500 is safe as 490 is also breaking the code.

Is there anything that can be used in drag end event to avoid the fluctuation in place of revert function?  Is it possible to use that event to re-position the element ? Asking to avoid this fluctuation without using timeout because timeout and duration may break if user drags the element continuously in quick succession 

I don’t have any more ideas. You are going to have to play with the code.
