I have reported empty white space cutting off when I use JQM on my Honeycomb tablet.
I wrote a function to report rotation and I realize that Honeycomb (Android 3.2) are design to be use in landscape while other version such as 2.x (not sure about ICS) are design to be use in portrait. When I am using my Android phone holding it on portrait my script reported as "Portrait" but in Honeycomb it was reverse. In Landscape it was reported as Portrait while Portrait as Landscape.
JQM also render my listview as dialog and some screen off centered too in the Honeycomb tablet. Could someone suggest a fix to apply in the code?
Hi yes, same here. Landscape is ok but portrait does not fill the bottom. I believe it should be a easy fix just that I'm not familiar with it.
You see, in honeycomb the OS "portrait" is actually landscape. It is reverse from non honeycomb version as Google design honeycomb to be use in this way. How I know? I have a script to detect screen orientation and I test it on android phone, emulator. For honeycomb the "landscape" is actually portrait although physically it is landscape.
The white space on the portrait is exactly the same fill area of the landscape. The rest of stuff like listview will be mess up.
We need JQM team to look into this, there are many tablet user out there.
