SharePoint 2010 Date form field size issue when used in JQuery UI Tab

SharePoint 2010 Date form field is displayed in reduced size (miniature) when used in a JQuery UI Tab structure, please find attached pics of the same

Any clue, highly appreciated, No CSS is updated for the fields, its same in both the pics

You need to use a web inspector to see what got inherited from the tabs and the table. I don’t see this behavior in a dead simple datepicker in a tab.

Thanks Jake

used the IE developer tools, and got to know that the custom jquery CSS that i took were making the input controls font size to 1em.

issue resolved!
