Short list selection - add onmousedown state with onmouseup transition
in Developing jQuery Mobile

The current short selection list feels a bit too fast upon selection, with no real responsiveness to the click/touch. Also, there is a transition for bringing up the list, but none to take you back to the page - it feels a little lop-sided.
I suggest having an onmousedown or hover (or similar) visual state with a transition upon selection, back to the page.
