Slider handle

I've been lookign at the jquery ui slider control - its ok but does have some limitations. Perhaps the most annoying thing is that the handle now always protrudes out from either side of the slider track, with no option to change it.
Its awkward for users in a lot of cases because the end of the track isnt where they think it is.
Are there any other good sliders that are worth a look at?
