sliding content help

I'm a total novice and I want to do something that I think is relatively easy, but I'm not sure where to start.

My page is a static banner and some text in the top 1/3. Then I want to have 5 tabs across the page (right under the static banner) When someone clicks on a tab I want the content (text and a few images) to scroll or slide up under the tabs. When they click on a different tab, the same thing happens, but with different text and images.

anyone with a quick "here's basically how to to this" would greatly be appreciated.
