Superfish - allowing the main menu item to link out?

Superfish - allowing the main menu item to link out?

Wondering what I need to alter in my Superfish code so it allows the main nav to be an active link along with its submenus? At the moment it hovers and displays the submenu beautifully but although there's a url attached to it, it doesn't link out. Any help would be so, so wonderful -- at a loss here.
