You probably should post these kind of questions to the "JQuery Mobile" forum. This one is about developing JQuery Mobile itself.Done
Are you developing a web site that will be used by mobile devices? Or a mobile app using PhoneGap, Rhodes, etc.? Where is the database to reside?I'm using JQM as a web user interface that will be used on both desktop and mobile browsers. MySQL DB resides on a server.
If the MySQL database lives on your web server, you would need to add a web service that you can post to. You might want to use JQuery Ajax functions to post.
As for taking a picture, this is platform-specific and would generally require a native framework (again, PhoneGap, Rhodes...) which can provide access to the camera via Javascript.I don't know about the others but PhoneGap sound good.
I chose JQM because it was often compared to SenchaTouch, but is free and more OS compliant.JQuery Mobile is NOT an application framework. Sounds like you need one.
