Not 100% certain, but it *seems* Microsoft Office Web Apps , do not support IE6. The lowest Ie version is 7. "...Office Web Apps support Internet Explorer (IE) 7 and IE8; Firefox 3.5 on Windows, Mac and Linux; and Safari 4.0 on the Mac..." --DBJ
My guess IE6 will be supported by the "enhanced" Silverlight version of MS-OWApps.<div>They made clear early on that Silverlight will not be required and OWApps will work natively in browsers like Firefox and Safari, but Silverlight will be an optional technology used.</div> <div>Since Silverlight 3 supports IE6 on Windows 2000 and XP SP2/SP3 they will probably use that version on those corporate intranets that still run IE6.</div><div> </div><div>So although it might be a strong statement to us about the phasing out of IE6, the general public won't have a clue since OWA will definately work on their corporate intranet in IE6.</div> <div> </div><div>THD</div><div>
