Is jQuery v2 or v3 using passive event listeners to improve scrolling performance (mostly for smartphones and tablets) ?

Consider adding support for passive event listeners has been brought up.

For now, if you need it use some of the code in that post or go native.

Actually, it's the default now for Chrome. So, with current Chrome, you don't have to do anything.

In fact, there's been a huge stink made about this, because it's broken a lot of sites and apps.

Thank you for the nice information ! I was not aware about that. It was a new subject for me. Nice Chrome enabled it by default (at least for me).
