Using draggable/sortable on an object containing an iframe

in Using jQuery UI • 14 years ago

Is it possible to do a draggable or sortable on a div which
encapsulates an iframe? I have found when dragging these objects that
unexpected behavior occurs, I assume because a loss of event focus.

A little more detail now that I've been playing around a bit.
I was able to use a helper to just create a blank object to move
instead of the original object. However, using this method isn't as
visually nice as I lose the contents of the display while dragging. If
there's anyway just to "disable" to iframe from receiving any events
or something, that would be the most ideal.

FYI - There is a bug in everything but IE that may stop you from doing this.. ..certianly stopped me
