Vertical button in jQuery UI

Is there anyway to do a vertical button in jQuery UI?
I wanted to use a button for a jquery slide-out tab but it has to be vertical which travels along the right side of the slide-out.
For accessibility reasons, I'm thinking the button (if I can do it) would be preferable to an image of done via CSS as it also has to work with IE7.
Any help would be appreciated :-)
