When will be a good time to start reporting bugs & pull requests to jQuery 2.0?

I'm quite interested in a good quality of jQuery 2.0, especially that I'm happy enough to recently work mostly on projects not supporting IE<9. I wish to know when will be a good time to start tracking potential bugs and report pull requests to the code base? I'm asking because work on this version seems to just have started and I wouldn't like to duplicate your in-progress effort.

Thanks for the help! There are a few large changes that will land in the next couple of days to remove more oldIE stuff, and we have to iron out how we name the work-in-progress builds so that people can test both 1.9 and 2.0. We'll have all that worked out by early next week though. That would be a great time to start serious testing.

Thanks for the info! As for the naming - aren't the names just 1.9.0pre (tracked on the 1.9-stable git branch) and 2.0.0pre (tracked on master)?
