I'm using the jQuery UI Modal Dialog and the jQuery Form Plugin. I've tested it on the following browsers and operating systems.

 

Safari, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and IE 6, IE 7, and IE 8.

XP, Vista, Windows 7, Mac

 

I've found that the combination of Windows XP and IE 8 causes IE to display the script error:

 

"A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive."

 

This only happens on a few machines running in this combination of operating system (XP) and browser (IE8).

 

According to Microsoft, this error is generated if more than 5M lines of javascript code are executed. Is that true? Regardless, it's taking a long time to display the dialog.

 

Has anyone else seen a similar issue? If so, how did you resolve it?
