I currently use .append to create a form with hidden fields dynamically, and submit it. however i would like to use $.post instead like $.post("http://www.google.com", { name: "John", time: "2pm" } ); but i need to load page the data was sent to just like a normal .submit but i am not sure how to do this? if anyone could help it would be much appreciated. Set html attribute via ajax
OK I got this script doing everything it needs to do. My PHP function in wordpress is sending the correct AJAX response. So why, after nearly 3 hours, can I STILL not set the link's href attribute? I have tried every combination I can think of to get the response into the <a title=""> attribute, but no dice. the <a> does not have a title initially, BTW I've tried this. Form Validation - Focusing/Updating/Sending
Hi Guys, I am new to jQuery and I am utilising it to try and improve a small business website I am making. I am currently validating a webform which is going great. I have surprised myself how quick it was. I am writing the code in a ('body').append function. Which is working in general however when the users leaves a field using the mouse pointer or tabs (to a checkbox) it does not validate. html5 audio | IE9 is being very strange indeed
Hi all, I don't think this is actually a JQuery problem but I am hoping that someone here has an answer or at least can point me in the right direction to help solve this problem. I am using JQuery, html5 and CSS to develop music games. Music Teacher's Games I have had no real problems until now with my first guitar game. Guitar Game One The guitar game works perfectly in FireFox, Chrome and Safari(slow loading). It actually functions fine with IE9 excepting that IE9 does not play all the sounds.

Best way to keep place in AJAX results?
Hi, I'm trying to make a system kinda like the way Facebook works in their app. Basically you get a list of results, click "Load more" and it would add them to the end of the list. The problem I'm having is that when you click on one of those results and goto the "more info" page using: $.mobile.changePage("detailed.html"); ...then when the user goes back a page, it reloads home.html fully (so you loose your position completely and have to scroll down and load all the results again, which obviously
Why 320 px?
I created the basic Hello World page on the quick start guide (http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.1.1/docs/about/getting-started.html). On my Galaxy 5 player, which has a screen width of 480px, it's forcing the screen size to 320px. If I add a 450px-wide image to that basic page, I have to scroll to see the entire width of the image. If I remove jquery.mobile-1.1.1.min.css from the head section, the problem goes away. Why do they force my device to a lower resolution, and is there any way around this?

Can't get a SELECT box to pre-fill in jQuery mobile?

OSX MouseWheel Issues
Hello, I have implemented MouseWheel Support for a Vertical iScroll List: http://jsfiddle.net/daslicht/qhhh8/ While this works wonderful on a PC, it totally goes mad on OSX. If I just touch the MouseWheel of my Logitech AnywhereMX Mouse, some MouseEvents are being dispatched. And if it turn it one snap (physical snap of the wheel) 3 or more Events get dispatched ?! If I use a Tochpad on OSX, the momentum scrolling is also preventing a proper usage, since multipel MouseWheelEvents get dispatched.

Alternative to using wrapInner
I've having trouble with the wrapInner function causing some event handlers to be duplicated when used on divs containing a elements from 3rd party toolkit. Currently we're basically doing this: $('#someElement').wrapInner('<table><tr><td></td></tr></table>'); When someElement contains our 3rd party toolkit control, some event handlers are duplicated. Easy Slider dynamic height
Hi, I am trying to use Easy Slider plug in to show list of products with images and prices. Height of image products is not pre-defined. So, height of Easy Slider should be the height of content. That is not working in Chrome, although it works in IE and Firefox. In Chrome, Easy Slider works fine if I set its height. But, if height is not specified, Chrome renders it partially and hide part of images. I tried to search for an answer on Google, but didn't find an answer. Trying to create a megamenu - hacing problems with loops
I am learning javascript (and jQuery). I cannot figure out how to make my megamenu work correctly. The script is taking all of the bins (list items underneath the top UL) and putting them underneath the very first menu item. Create iframes from original page content
I am trying to dynamically "rewrite" an entire page to a set of iframes. I want a music player bar at the bottom iframe and the original page "rewritten" in an iframe above/behind that. css height incorrect
First time using this forum... I have an app written in jQuery that reads the css height of a div box with variable amounts of text in it. The css height is set to auto and most of the time the css height read by jQuery is correct. However I have found a problem when the text on the last line results in no spaces at the end of the line. eg it fits exactly within the width of the div box.
