However when I try to take it into my own project, it doesn't work at all. Basically, when I click the Events tab at the top, a dialog box should open. It doesn't. Hello, I have a dialog with an anchor tag inside of it that I want to use to run some jquery when the user clicks on it. Specifically, I want to close the dialog and show a popup for a few seconds letting the user know that their password was reset. Problem with ajax calling for dns redundant url resolution
Hi, I've this code: var PUBLIC_URL = "http://localhost/smailer"; and appart of this, I call to jQuery ajax method as this: $.ajax(PUBLIC_URL + "/admin/ws/insertNewNode", .....); But the ajax call is never done, due tries to connecto to http://<AN IP>/admin/ws/inserNewNode. Excepts localhost as shown in the code. Why jQuery or JS tries to solve the url before send the calling? Then the calling is never done due it fails de CORS (crossDomain, and I don't want to enable it). How can to correct this

Hi, using the Animated Basic dialog the popup window opens in the center of the screen. But closing it, (only) at a screen width of 1920, the explosion of the popup window starts at the right side of the screen. Any idea? Regards Thomas

How are folks here using jQuery Mobile to gain a consistent look & feel for scrollable containers to look exactly the same across all devices and browsers? Thus far, I tried the Nicescroll jQuery plugin. And used the code for a responsive app here . Sencha Touch or jQuery Mobile?
I wonder if I were to develop a mobile Web app (now, in two weeks, or in a month), which one should I go for? Which one would you mobile Web developers go for? If jQM 1.0 were officially released today, I would most likely embrace it (as long as it actually delivers what it promises). Now that it is in alpha, I wonder whether it is worth to jump into it yet for a commercial grade project? Would Sencha Touch be a better alternative?

I have a site that is developed in Coldfusion 8, it's almost complete and will soon be ready to be updated with Jquery Mobile. I'm wondering if there is anybody in here that considers themselves to be an expert in both ColdFusion AND Jquery Mobile that would be in a position to assist in the adaptation of the JQM. How to set global variable between two html number inputs
Hello, my first post... I am trying to use two different html number input boxes to set a global variable that runs an endless looping number counter. The first input works fine but the second one loses focus after it's clicked? (I'm new at this really) What I want is to be able to change the variable by clicking either of the number inputs. BlockUI to block links and submit buttons
Hi, I'm trying to use the BlockUI plugin on links and submit buttons in my asp.Net application. The links all have the class of activityButton so I've tried $(".activityButton").block({message:null}) The links look like they have been blocked but it's still possible to click the links and they work. Some are using the asp.net javascript:__dopostBack function and others are normal links to another page. Adding dropdown dynamically
Hi, I want to offer my users a means where they can select an item from a dropdown and select the quantity from another dropdown. I don't know how many items they want in advance, so want to create the item/quantity dropdown pairs dynamically. Default system date & time in form fields
This might have been asked before but I didn't find anything in the forum search. When a jquery mobile form is opened with a date and time field in it, I need the fields values to immediately have the default current system date and time, still with the option for user to change the value (ie. date and time box).
