Using draggable plugin with transparent png images
Hello, I'm trying to drag a transparent 'png' image in a container div, however, despite the drag works fine, the image loses their transparent regions being always pure white. Do you know what it necessary to be done in order to keep the transparent regions and hence be possible to see depper layers? Thanks in advance, Dk
Galleria loading when I click the "back" button but not on normal page load?
Galleria is working great except for the one browser that I am sure I don't even need to mention for you to realize. When I load the page in ie6 it fails... BUT... if I then go to another page and then click "back" in the ie6 browser window, for some messed up reason it loads up perfectly. So this must mean there is only something small stopping this from working, but what? I would love to hear any ideas?

I want the validation to work after the user clicked "Submit" 2. If a column is wrong (username already taken or password length invalid) I want not only error message but also a picture in front of the error message. 3. [validate plugin] custom rule error
hi i have added a rule to my form but i can't understand why it does not work!! http://www.pipelabitta.it/form/ This is an example page: the rules is that the check box must be checked and there must be a valid date. jQuery Validate - invalidHandler question
I'm running validation on a form that has two components, a payments segment and an address segment. Both of these need to be within the same form. By default, the address segment is hidden. Upon validation, I would like to display the payment segment, but only if there are validation errors within that segment. Fancybox & IE
Hi, I'm using the most basic functionality of the Fancybox plugin. All renders fine in FF 3.5.9 & Chrome 4. Wouldn't you know it, IE 7 has a problem, it does not display the close box and doesn't honor the location of the title. Hi, I've tried to look for an answer for this but none available so far... I am trying to validate a field that could be either an email address or an url. Both email and url validation methods exist already so I am hoping that I don't have to create another function... Is it possible to do so in the current framework? Thanks

All I need is a MySQL update by pressing the submit button. The user sould't get on the php site by pressing the Submitbutton and when it's possible there should't be a page refresh by pressing the submit button. I am having a problem trying to open an swf file. I have modified the YouTube option to check for a specific file. It works, but now all the windows open up the 720x426 size. If the link is a html/text it will not load but it will load an image??? Slow issue

It can take a while for the page to load and i was wondering if anyone knew an alternative way of doing it and any optimizations that can be done. I like the way this works and would like to keep something similar but if anyone has any other UI ideas it's also welcome.

How to enable button if specific field validate?
Hi all, I need a little help with jQuery Validate plugin. What I need is a way to enable (remove disabled attribute) specific button (not submit) on a form if an input field pass validation? Restricting Datepicker input and WYSIWYG
With this setup it is possible to have the user enter an invalid value "1899/5/11". The text box show this value. 1) If it is an invalid value, I don't want to allow it. The user can enter a "short" year like "51/8/21" which is actually "1951/8/11". 2) Since Datepicker is making assumptions about the "cutoff year", I would want to explicitly show in the input control the assumed year. The user can input an incomplete entry like "5/2". 3) Since this is also invalid input, I don't want to allow it.
superfish submenu in IE8 has Gap
I can't seem to figure out how to fix the gap in the sub submenu without affecting other browsers. Validation plugin: check if a field contains an integer not equal to zero
Hi everyone, I have already done a number of things with Jörn's validation plugin and I'm excited about its features. But here is my question: how do I validate a field so that it fits the two following conditions: it should be an integer and should not be equal to zero? So, if a user enters "0", it should be error; if he/she enters "12.5", it should be error also; but "-3", "125", "40" are OK. FancyBox doesn't work if the triggered is dynamically loaded

adding click function to a table row under tablesorter
Hi, I'm trying to be able to click a row to highlight it on table controlled by tablesorter. I'm having a great deal of difficulty achieving this as nothing seems to make any difference. I am adding the following after the call to tablesorter. $("tr").click(function(){ $(this).addClass("hilite"); }); This works on tables that are not sorted by tablesorter. Any ideas? I’m having troubles getting slimbox2 to work within a div with a class or id attached to it for formatting. If I remove the class/id slimbox2 works fine but stops working when I reattach the class/id. I say class/id because I’ve tried both ways and get the same result. It appears that the event handler doesn’t get assigned correctly to the link when the surrounding div has a class/id attached to it. Please note that this div is nested about 4 divs deep. jquery autocomplete - need to update one field as the user is typing in another field
I've got a username and id field. Right now the admin starts typing a username into the username field and the autocomplete plugin starts displaying usernames that match. That part works ok. The problem is that the users id field is not presented correctly until the admin either finishes typing the username or selects a username and presses the TAB key. They do not want to have to press the TAB key - they want the id field to automagically update as they type, or when they select the username
