Getting this error in IE8, didn't check other IE versions. Works in FF. Any ideas? Modify Coda Slider Active Tab to Link to Another Page
I'm looking for a way to modify a tabbed content slider - doesn't have to be Coda Slider - so that if you click on the active tab you are taken to another page. I'd like it to function like the News | World | Local | Finance tabs section on the Yahoo! homepage... any tips where I should start looking to make this modification?

hi, i'me new to jquery and trained to use it with jstree-plugin. I found out how to configure it to do what I want and soi learned how jquery works in principle. then I tried out to integrate the functionality of the plugin blockUI i felt lucky to find out how to combine these both plugins and there functionality. after getting this to work also I felt save, that I could build my little application (a gui to manage a parent/child-mysql-table) looking like a windows-explorer searched for some plugin
jquery.loadmask.js not working in IE 8?
I have implemented a simple load mask on a confirm page. It works fine in firefox 3.6 but will not work in IE 8. The mask appears but the page never gets submitted and it just spins in IE! I'm sure its a simple fix. I am very new to jquery so any advise would be great! Save position of draggable div in a cookie?
Hi all, I found this script online that lets users on an iPhone drag boxes around the screen. The problem is that when you reload the page, the boxes are in different positions than what they were before the reload. Like, you would drag the boxes around and then reload the page, but the boxes would be in the default locations. I want the boxes to stay in the same spot that they were the previous time they moved them. Does that make sense? SimpleModal bug when positioning HTML5 video
I am trying to use simple modal to display a modal window containing a video. I'm using the HTML5 "video" tag to do this. Using JQuery and SimpleModal, I can get it working in Chrome and Firefox, but for some reason Safari fails to maintain the centered positioning of the modal dialog for the video. In other words, when you scroll up and down in the windows, the modal window stays in its place, but the video scrolls up and down with the rest of the content outside the window. I've put together a

treeview async persist problem

New background image on "site" visit (not page refresh)
Hi all, There are plenty of great plugins and scripts out there that display a new background image (or standard image) on page refresh. That's all fine and good. However, I'm wondering if it's possible to have a new background image displayed when the user leaves the site and returns. ajaxSubmit doesn't submit with Firefox, submits with refresh in explorer
This has been driving me insane for days, sure would appreciate any ideas: I'm using a very basic implementation of ajaxSubmit for a form which only needs to post, but gets trickier as it is handled by a cgi script, which I know almost nothing about. Everything works perfectly - the form is submitted and the textarea updates with the confirm message - in Chrome and Safari. Explorer does the submit, but refreshes the page. I would like to validate a quiz. Each question has 3 answers, I need the validation script to match the value of the selected radio button with the proper answer. Validate plugin image not showing in IE8
I am using the validate plugin on my contact page It all works perfectly in Firefox. In IE8 however everything works except that the image doesn't show when the input is correct. The image does show when something is wrong though. Any help would be much appreciated.

ajax upload error

Hi, While in a dynamic context, appending or removing a table row on the fly breaks the tablesorterPager rendering. It results in a single page, the others being lost. Validation plugin - what's the purpose of groups?
I'm trying to figure out what the purpose of the groups option in the validation plugin. The docs say it's for grouping of error messages, but they still have to use errorPlacement and check the name attributes in order to place the message. Shouldn't that be what the groups option does? Or am i missing something?

Cycle Plugin and XML Data file.
I love the Cycle plugin as it is a perfect fit for my website application....with one exception. The slide content I am using is primarily text, which I have gotten to work well in the small trials of say one chapter (20 pages), except I have several hundred or even thousands of pages I would like to slide and navigate etc. I would like to separate my data from my HTML with preferably XML or possibly JSON (probably not as well suited for paragraphs, headers and occasional images?). BlockUI and Autocomplete
I cannot get the autocomplete plugin to work inside of a blockui element. I am using the blockui to act like a modal dialog window that displays a textbox for username. I tried setting the z-index but that does not seem to work. When I move the autocomplete outside of the blockui element (on my regular page), the plugin works fine.

jstree and the copy function
Hello, I started using jstree version 0.9.9a. a little time ago. I use the async json funcionality of it. I will take the create node scenario to describe how i am using it. I use the beforecreate callback and i use ajax to post data to a php script, the php side handles the request and creates a node in the database and returns true or false if the node was created and with what name. After implementing ( create,delete, move ) it was time to work with copy. What i have understand that is happening
