.slideUp .slideDown issues in IE
I have been asked to build this slide up and down functionality on http://iuvodesign.com/ landing page. If you go to the address underneath the large image you will see Recent and Selected works. It seems to be working fine in all browsers, but IE displays the contents as soon as I click on the header and then things slide down over the contents. I have overflow:hidden applied. Does anyone know how I could fix this IE issue? Thanks!

Hi there we just changed to SSL here in our office and now I have a problem with blockUI: as soon as I put $.blockUI() in my code, IE6 throws this world famous annoying popup before showing my page: "This page contains secure and non secure items" and this, even I have this warning disabled in the IE6 setting (trusted zone intranet + advanced settings). removing the line: everything works fine. I think the problem could be in blockUI working with iframe. Any solution for that? Until then, I have

Hi! I am looking for a way to get a copy of the jQuery object itself (a copy-no reference to the current window.jQuery !). I could not find a dedicated method for this. How do I get a dialog to load external HTML?
Hello I need to get a dialog to load it's content from an external file. I've seen various demos doing this, however they all specify the external HTML file in the Javascript at the head of the main document. I need to specify the external document in the link itself: <a href="url here">Click to open dialog</a> That is because the page itself is a table, with each record with an Edit link. Hi, I've been looking around for a while for a simple and fast solution to input field masking with optional lengths, for instance to mask a 'price' field. I want to be able to offer the following mask (where ^ means no limit to the length of the following characters): ^9.99 So then the input could be 15315.12 or 1.5 but it would mask the input correctly, or at least validate it on blur or something nice like that :). How to copy input from one textbox to another via checkbox?
Hi all! First time poster, jQuery noob, non-programmer, please be kind, you know the rest. I'm cleaning up a simple form that has a Start Date textbox and an End Date textbox. I want to add a checkbox in between these fields that the user can check if the End Date is the same as the Start Date, so when they check it, the Start Date input value (e.g., 04/01/09) will automagically appear in the End Date textbox, so they don't have to type in the same date twice. I wonder if jQuery core live function could have such functionality? Help with negative margins jquery slide
Hi Im working on my presonal portofolio: http://www.hejven.dk/11.html ..and i have ran into some problems with the slider that appears when you hover over one of the colored boxes to the left. As you can see, a description text slides out, but it is set with negative margins, and that makes jquery slide the text out, and then display the parts of the description with the negative margin. In JQuery I saw you can get attributes by saying foo.attr("value"), super handy. Is there anyway to get the element of the thing that contains the attribute?
