Updating URLs in posts is broken
In my response to the following: https://forum.jquery.com/topic/jquery-calculations-on-run-time I edited the URL for the jsFiddle so that the end was /3 instead of /1. While the displayed text showed /3, the underlying link remained unchanged - /1! I had to delete the entire line and re-enter it. This is going to cause a great deal of confusion if not fixed. I only noticed because I am a suspicious sort, and clicked on the link to make sure it worked. re: my previous post here: I guess quotes

Quote highlighting has been broken for about a week. I've taken to start adding quotation marks manually, so that readers have some clue. At least the case for Chrome 51.0.2704.103
Deleting very old private conversations
If you try to delete some very old private conversation, you cannot. You get a pink popup that says: (null) It seems the conversation has gone away, but a reference to the conversation has not, and cannot be removed.
Font weirdness

avatars don’t match links!
https://forum.jquery.com/using-jquery , and all forums, show avatars for the last person to post on a thread. But when clicked it goes to the original poster’s page. They should match or show should show both avatars with correct links or just kill the links. JΛ̊KE
New Post button
In defense of everyone who has posted it recently, I have trouble finding the new post button myself sometimes. In my mind, where it is currently located is in a navigation bar that is not specific to the current page. When I'm on a page and wanting to do something within that page my eyes naturally look at everything below the line with "JQUERY FORUM" and the search field. To me, since it is pretty static, everything above that line is site wide functionality, not page specific. With all that being

I tried change DNS address, clear DNS cache, clear windows/system32/etc/hosts file. I still reach jquery.com & jqueryui.com. I can enter https://forum.jquery.com/ I can enter with anonymouse.org etc. proxy sites. What's the problem on my computer or my internet? How i can find what the problem?

Why the number of the beast?
Why is jQuery using the number of the beast as its logo? The jQuery logo is simply Vav-Vav-Vav (that's 666 in Hebrew) rotated 180 degrees.
forums.jquery.com reports 404 - Not Found
When we type http://forums.jquery.com/ the browser reports 404 - Not Found I believe it is customary that lot of websites have forums in its pluralistic sense. Even otherwise it would be great if forums could seamlessly redirect to forum.jquery.com just like calendar.yahoo.com and calender.yahoo.com work in the same way. Can some one put a web server configuration for this?
Post page broken in Chrome(25)
For instance, I couldn't post this as a problem in Chrome because you can't select the Report a problem tab. I'm on FireFox right now. I also don't see the rich text editor in Chrome version 25 on this page nor can I hit any of the buttons at the bottom to post, preview or cancel. I've turned off any ad blockers or flash blockers for the site just in case, no luck.

Jquery Websites' Search Infinite Refresh

Where is the button for submitting a translation?

Sign Up to this forum doesn't work in Safari on Mac
Hi, I just signed up, but had to switch to Firefox 3.6.13 in order to do so as the registration form didn't work in Safari. On Safari 5.0.4 (6533.20.27) on Mac OSX 10.6.6 the form won't tab out of the Username field and the other fields won't focus on select with the mouse. I cannot take focus off the username field ! Hi, I was browsing the forum looking for help with something I'm trying to accomplish with jQuery but couldn't find anything specific... So I decided to join up and post a question myself... These forums lack the polish that a project as big as jQuery should have...
In only 3 minutes on these forums I am left with the impression that they were thrown together in a day's time. I understand jQuery is not a for-profit organization, but with the amount of resources (coders) that jQuery has available in terms of volunteers I don't see how these forums could be in such poor shape over a year after being rolled out. PLEASE fix the Plugin 'Issues' website - it is unusable!
The "issues" component of plugins.jquery.com has been virtually unusable for months. In every browser, the page response is absurdly slow and the CAPTA feature is a mess. I keep trying to respond to issue postings on my plug-ins, but it can literally take 15 minutes to write 2 sentences! Then when I try to post, I go into CAPTA hell. Remove Formatting no longer removing html tags?
It seems as though the removeFormatting button is no longer removing tags. For example, i'm going to paste some code from another response i just made, select it, and click remove formatting: Copy code $.datepicker.setDefaults({ dateFormat: 'dd/mm/yy' }); // elsewhere in your code $(selector).datepicker(); $(someotherselector).datepicker(); It does do something, but it no longer removes the tags around the text. This makes modifying code that someone pastes from some other editor a real pain.

The nice shiny green 'forum' button on the jquery mobile site sends you to a non-existent forum, and 404s. AJP

What happened with jQuery Plugins site?
Yesterday, I once again logged to my account (Sultry) and was incredibly disappointed: 1. Practically for all of the functional site I get - ACCESS DENIED!!! 2. The section of my projects is empty, even though the plugin is present on the site (XSLT Templater)!!! 3. Similarly, I can't add a bug report!!! I tried to create a new account (tmp12345), but the situation has not changed! What happened?
Jquery site does not support Oper
While jQuery is compatible with Opera, that is not the case for the API information site. I have to switch browsers every time I lookup a function... Take for example: http://api.jquery.com/html/ See attachment for a screenshot. If it was just ugly it would not be a problem (for me) but 95% of the text just vanishes...
Activity Trend Issue
I just went into my profile and noticed the new Activity Trend area. the activity in the past 30 days looks good, however, the all time selection shows results from 1970-2002. Shouldn't it instead show all time from my first post to my last post? There were also no controls to change the date range of all-time. Take me out of watch the Getting Started form
Hello, I do not wish to end my account with this form. But the emails are getting to be to much. I tried to click on the "unwatch the Getting Started Link" but I get a 404 page. I tried to call support there is none. Please stop the emails.
Delete attachment not possible
I try to delete the attachment on my post in http://forum.jquery.com/topic/how-to-prevent-draggables-to-move-through-each-other (I made the example in jsbin) but the loadingimage stays on the screen and the attachment is not deleted.
<ol> does not look right in forum posts
Look how ordered lists look in posts. It does not look right and there should be some css problem. one two threeLet's just test some <ul>s too: one two threeFor reference, I see this happening in Firefox 3.6.3, Windows XP, and here is screen shot (from this question).
can't view the forums
if i login (using google or creating a zoho account) then click on "all forums", or "recent posts" or "http://forum.jquery.com/" for that matter, nothing displays under the "seartch jQuery" bar. things are there but they are all "display:hidden" thankfully, "New Post" works tried firefox, chrome, ie6
jquery docs hacked with spam mcts / mcitp links
Unsure where to post this, so here goes ... The "Types" page (http://docs.jquery.com/Types) and "Using jQuery with Other Libraries" page (http://docs.jquery.com/Using_jQuery_with_Other_Libraries) have both been hacked with spam links to some cheesy Microsoft Certified Professional vendor. Hoping to delete the spam, I created a docs.jquery.com account, but the pages are locked, so the spam links are still there. The links are just inserted into the markup, in both cases toward the end of the page.
Searching for function() produces 404 error
Hello, i'm new to jQuery and this forum and found out that the search doesn't support brackets it seems ... now that i know it's not really a problem but it mystified me for a moment ...
Conflicting Response Counts
If a user has a post awaiting moderation, it still shows up in the Responses count on their profile, but obviously not in the post listing (see attached screenshot). Not a big deal for people with a bunch of posts, but kind of looks weird when they only have a few as it's noticeably inaccurate. Check the docs before you post! http://api.jquery.com/

Unable to access the jQuery forums while logged in
I would have posted a reply to the "Are the jQuery Forums acting weird for anyone else?" post, but as I can't see any forums or posts while logged into the forum, I can't reply to anything. I've tried this in IE and FF on both my work machine and from home and get the same problem in both places. Has any progress been made on this since Rajaram's comment back on April 9th? gosh this forum hurts
Ive lost about four posts by accidently hitting 'shift'+ 'delete'. This has left me abandoning about 4 post and loosing about four hours of real time if not more. Please save progess in some way that if I make a very basic mistake like hitting shift+'delete' button (on mac FF) I should not lose my post. Blah
Big "thumbnail" images
The forum doesn't seem to reduce the resolution of images that users submit for thumbnails. Some of the images submitted are several hundred KB and you can see them load. There should be some limit that's checked when the user sets the thumbnail image...maybe 50KB or so?
Search messed up?
When I am on page 10 of my search results and click the Back button, either in my browser OR the one at the bottom of the post, it goes back to PAGE 1 of the results... What gives???? Very STUPID way to handle search results....

German Forum Translation Is Awful
Is there some way to proprose correct translations to the jQuery forum? Sometimes it's very hard to tell what an input field is supposed to mean.
