Text selecting is not working on browser
Hi All, i am using jquery first time on my page , one of my user reports me the bug that when he is trying to select something from browser its not working.i think this is a common scenario when user select something from browser and paste in google for serching purpose. Can anyone tell me what could be the possible reason of this problem?? Thanks in advance. Ankur
Using a var in .load()
I'm looking to make a page that loads in data from various divs on a separate page depending on the hash part of the url. If a page is loaded with the url of www.example.com/#about this will load info from an external page (what-cms.php) where the div has an id of #about Below is how I think it might look, but I can not get it to work. Modal dialog with edit/delete for table rows
Here's my goal: have a table of data with edit/delete buttons. The edit buttons open a modal dialog with the form pre-populated with the details for the appropriate row. I have had trouble getting the ajax to work to actually fill out the form on the fly, so I'm just opening an edit page inside the modal and passing the id. It works great...for the first edit button. Nothing at all happens on subsequent edit buttons. I'm at a loss. I'm no javascript or jquery expert, but have googled away and haven't
validate on mouseout
Hello, I am using the jquery validate plugin. It works but I am trying to get each field to validate on mouseout. This works if you have text in a field but it doesn't validate if your field has nothing entered into it. I am trying to to make my form show validation errors if someone tabs through a textbox or clicks on it and moves to the next one without entering anything or an invalid input. i'm trying to debug why a drupal module i'm writing crashes when two unrelated modules are enabled at the same time. i have narrowed it down to the jquery.form.js file after a long process of elimination. but the copy that comes with drupal 6 is compressed and is version 2.01, and one of the modules that is causing the problem replaces it with a much more recent copy. to learn more specifics, check out my post here: http://drupal.org/node/1073216 that is the issue queue for a module that my module
Jquery UI Button/buttonset - auto-refresh after state change?
When disabling/enabling a button or a radio buttons set, the Jquery UI buttons doenst reflect the current state unless you specifically call refresh on the element. Is there a way to have this done automatically when the underlying element becomes disabled/enabled?
Detect Touch Screens?
Is there a way to use jquery to detect any device with a touch screen? Im using the jscrollpane but the handles drag in the wrong direction on touch screens like the ipad (in my opinion). As you can drag the main content (which works in the correct way), I want to hide the scroll bars if the device is a touch screen. Thanks

Hi! I am writing a web application that generates a lot of different elements, like div's, drop-down lists and such. As far as I understand javascript and JQM, these runtime generated widgets are not styled as other parts of the page, because they were added after JQM code ran. Superfish Menu - HOVER Problem IE6
Hallo .. ich benutze das superfish-Menü für ein 2 Ebenen Klappmenü. Es funktioniert erfolgreich für alle Browser AUßER den IE6. Problems with .delegate() on table populated with .tmpl()
Hi all, I'm using jQuery 1.4.4 and I can't understand where I'm doing wrong, I'm simply populating all the rows of a table with template function, so far so good, but I cant delegate the "hover" (and click and all the events) event on a row or a cell. I am working with a mls provider. They provided forms for doing quick searches. The only problem is that the form redirect the user out side my site. I don't like that. What I would like to do is have them fill out the quick search pass the values to another page of mine and trigger the post to there site. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Saving a data structure to a file...

CSS problem when adding data with javascript after visiting the page
I have a problem adding with JS content to a visited page. For example I add the 2 first items without problem, then I visited this page, and after I added the third product with the CSS problem as you can see (the text doesn't respect the indentation). Styling of native selects in listviews
Hi all, i was trying to style native selects that are located within listviews. I have something like this: <ul data-role="listview" data-theme="a"> <li> <h3>Headline</h3> <select data-native-menu="true" data-theme="a"> <option value="1">Option 1</option> <option value="2">Option 2</option> </select> </li> </ul>The selects are not being styled.
