slider not initializing the value
HI, I've been integrating the slider into a Drupal 6 site. Due to Druapl's slightly older built in version of jQuery, I'm using jquery.ui 1.6. I've been having trouble getting the sliders to initialize properly. No matter what I give in the value key for the options when I init, it always sets to 1. Accordion Position Fixed
Hey Guys I am having a problem. I am using an accordion on a page inside a Thickbox. But when the computer dimensions are too small, the scrollbars appear on the thickbox, but the accordion is fixed... it scrolls with the page :S Does anyone knows how can I fix this?
datepicker onselect and dateFormat
Hi all, I have 2 datepickers a "from date" and a "to date". The selected "from date" sets the minDate of the "to date" and the "to date" sets the maxDate of "from date". I'm having difficulty getting the date picker to use both the onselect event and setting the initial date format of the first selected date. For example if i select the "from date" first it puts it in the text field in mm/dd/yy format then I select the "to date" which inserts in the format dd/mm/yy which subsequently messes up the

Modal Dialog Works in Firefox, only partially works in IE
I'm making a page that displays a table of appointments (the summary view), and on click of a row should display the details of that appointment, which is fetched via ajax. Everything works fine in firefox, but in IE8 (havent tried other IE versions) the gray translucent overlay comes up, and nothing else on the page is clickable, but the dialog doesn't show. Two different range slider handles
I would like to use a different image as the left slider handle than the right slider handle. I would like the left slider handle to have an arrow pointing right and the right slider handle pointing left. How would I go about doing this?
CDN Distribution Download
If there isn't one already it would be nice to be able to download a distribution for putting into a private CDN. I have a need to have all of jQueryUI and the themes hosted internally. It is not convenient to download a custom zip for each theme. One zip just like the custom but will all themes would rock.

How do I execute a function when the UI tabs have been tabified?
What I really would like is for the jQuery UI "tabsshow" event (alternatively a tabsinitialized event) to fire when the tabs have been initialized (we are showing a tab after all, aren't we?). But since it doesn't, is there another way to execute some kind of init function when the tabs have loaded? Best regards, Matias
Problems with Jquery UI Dialogs
Hi, I seem to be constantly running in to problems with the UI Dialog, using the latest versions of jquery. Datepicker image not showing in IE
Hello, When using the datepicker the image (calendar icon) doesn't show in IE, when viewing the properties of the image. It shows something like: <img src="http://domain.com/%22http://domain.com/images/icon- calendar.gif%22" .. /> Is there a way to solve this? (Using 1.7.2, tried on 1.7.1, same result.)

I was digging around in Google looking for 3D Carousel when I found that it had been included in jQuery UI, but it wasn't obvious where (Google Code!). So I setup ui.core.2622.js ui.carousel.js and have it running as I want in a page. Here is the sticking point: - When I run it with jQuery Drop Shadows (operating on a wrapping DIV) the CPU shoots to 90%+ usage - When I run it without jQuery Drop Shadows the CPU runs at ~30% usage, which is what I see happen with the demo code I know this isn't in

dialog - checkbox in buttonpane
i'm wondering if there is a way to get a checkbox into the pane at the bottom of the dialog window that includes the buttons. I have a couple buttons being created using the 'buttons' option. I'd like to use something similar to place a checkbox and some text in there as well. any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
Positioning problem with ui.dialog
Hi List, I have a positioning problem with ui.dialog if the document.body has an offset other than 0 and is position: relative or absolute. The dialog will jump away from the mouse-pointer when dragging or resizing the dialog. This is probably caused by a funny behaviour of jquery.offset which will only give you the the offset to the body and not to the document in case the document.body has an offset other than 0 and is position: relative or absolute. I use the download builder, but when I open the downloaded zip file, all that is in the file is an index.htm, there are no javascript or css files for the theme.

I'm using JQuery 1.3.2 with UI 1.7.2 am seeing an undesirable effect with the accordion loading. I've tested Firefox 3.5.2 and IE8 When it first loads all of the menus are open and then quickly closed causing a flash affect and the page re-sizes because the menu gets much smaller. Tabs mispositioned after browser resize

IE7 Droppable issue
I'm working on a filemanager that uses drag and drop to move files. The app uses some ajax to move between folders when they are clicked on... Everything works in FF and Saf, but in IE7, droppable seems to stop things up, but not right away. In the first level of files/folders, drag and drop work fine. But when I go down a level, it stops working in IE7, giving a generic "Problems with this Web page might prevent it from being displayed properly...". Drag + drop stop working at this point. jQuery UI Tabs Usage Like Twitter About Page
I'm trying to use jQuery Tabs for a page that needs to have the links in a separate div from the content. So, instead of the standard HTML required for the tabs, it is similar to the HTML below. help with serialize
I am using the demo from the jquery ui site that shows how to sort divs between columns. The sorting works well but when the user changes the placement of a div I need to get the placement of each div. I'm trying to use serialize on the update event but I get back an empty string.
