[jQuery] Access keys again
<div>I found this idea on a blog somewhere: when the user holds down ctrl-alt, the accesskey's on the page are displayed over their elements. Access keys are set by adding an accesskey attribute to the element, and used with Ctrl-{key} or Alt-{key} depending on the browser. Good for the disabled AND power users. Only problem is, IE won't cooperate. I've had the code detecting Ctrl-Alt and adding the div's, but some time after that it stopped working. And with no errors. I hate that. Can anyone see
[jQuery] jQuery theme/tempate/skin editor?
I'm looking at the feasability of a tool for converting existing HTML/CSS files into templates with jQuery and wondering if anyone has or is working on relevant pieces. This is pretty much at the "things I wish I had time for" stage, but I thought I'd do some scoping anyway. The idea is to facilitate/enable development of site templates from existing designs. The specific appliction is Drupal's PHPTemplate system, but the approach should be extensible to different templating systems. It would work
[jQuery] thickbox fix + compressing the new jquery
Hi, jquery newbie here! I just installed thickbox ( http://codylindley.com/Javascript/257/thickbox-one-box-to-rule-them-all ) and it uses jquery. I had to use a workaround to fix a bug (?) in thickbox : Firefox shows the complete image *before* the effect (slideDown) starts. So it shows the image, hides it, and starts the slideDown effect. The quick fix I found to prevent the image to be displayed before the slideDown effect is to hide "z.el", in jquery's "Get the current size" function: ----------------

[jQuery] simple form validation
It's a little broken in IE. When I fill out the username and hit tab, the field turns green, but the password "text" is partially in the green box due to the username box getting taller. You need to somehow work it so that the boxes indicating validation aren't larger than the original box. If you don't the form will look way out of wack. I might suggest displaying the error/sucess message for all fields in one fixed area, or displaying the error message for each after the field instead of below

[jQuery] Parsing CSS
I have a need to parse all elements in the DOM and determine which ones have a computed style of "position: fixed" My plan is to use some hackery to simulate position: fixed in IE, but I first need to: 1) Find nodes with position: fixed 2) Copy the nodes 3) Do some DOM manipulation 4) Put back the nodes The main difficulty for me is (1).
