Need help to reposition buttons to a particular DIV within a pageBreak and Table. Right now, it's simply placing the buttons under the table. Can anyone help me figure this out? console.log() and disabled Firebug
Hey everybody, I'm getting used to jQuery and JavaScript in general (though I've been working with ActionScript for years), and I came across this nice function console.log(). With this I can log stuff in the Firebug-console and that's awesome. The problem is.. when I open my project with Firebug disabled, my project isn't responding properly (like it's getting an error 'cause the console couldn't be found or something). When I reload with the console activated, it's all good. Is this regular behavior
Adding mouseover elements to div
I am after adding a mouseover (and mouseout) to a div tag, however this mouseover and mouseout will require an element id passing to it to work. Currently the tag is <DIV class="mc-c" onMouseOver='document.getElementById("ID1").className="mc-h-on"' onMouseOut='document.getElementById("ID1").className="mc-h-off"'><DIV id="ID1"></DIV></DIV> but the tag will soon become <DIV class="mc-c"><DIV id="ID1"></DIV></DIV>[/ The ID1 is generated when rendering the HTML and there may be multiple of these tags

Image fade on load [SOLVED]
Hey, Please excuse my javascript and jquery ignorance. Im building a simple photo gallery and would like an image to fade in. I need the image to only fade in once the image has fully loaded. Here is what i have so far function fade() { $("#Picture").fadeIn("600"); } And on the image i wish to fade <img id="Picture" onload="fade()" src="images/landscape.jpg" /> This partly works with most browsers ive tested apart from opera. Can you please improve on what i have here and if possible
[SOLVED] Ajax form not posting content to processing script
I'm totally green with Jquery (...and this forum) so go easy on me! I have this Jquery code, below, which I was hpoing would pass the data from the form over to form processing script but the problem I have is that the success is returned but the processing script does not seem to get the form data passed to it. Advice from eslewhere suggested I use ajaxSubmit but I have no idea where or how I use this method...enlightenment is most certainly required. I am including jquery, jquery.validate and jquery.form

How to hide/show a DIV, with a cursor hover

However when you hover on the title, you don't get any mouse feedback because it's not a hyperlink. validation plugin
I am using the validation plugin. When a field is now filled out, up pops a message saying.. 'this field is required'. for the life of me i can't find where this is set so i can change it to something else such as... 'oops, this field is required!' please help.. thanks

[jQuery] Superfish menu problem.
I have installed the superfish menu on a site I am developing and I am having trouble getting the horizontal setting to work. Here is the link. itc.contendia.net. Hello all, Quick question from a n00b... I'm trying to setup multiple jcarousel textscroller instances on one page displaying rss feeds and somehow I cannot seperate them. Despite doing what I thought was setting up unique instances, they both end up displaying the content of the second rss feed called in the code. changing the value of a jquery ui slider
I'm calling a modal box with AJAX, and on that modal box I have a slider. I'm setting the slider on the main page, but need to specify the value of the slider within the modal box (its a value from the dbase). Make sense? What I have is a form where people will answer yes or no questions. What I need is, that when the page is loaded, a way to go though the questions and check to see which ones are marked as yes. The reason for this is, when yes is checked, there are additional questions that open up using .show(). I have successfully installed superfish-powered drop-down menus in my horizontal nav bar, but I get an irritating (and inconsistent) issue when I click on a nav link: the drop-down menus briefly "flash" down as the new page loads. For some reason, and this is baffling me, if I use both the validation plugin and the datepicker plugin, some voodoo is occurring. I have to select the date twice for it to validate. For example, here are the steps I took: I try to submit the form without dates in the fields. The form is not sent and the date fields are flagged.
