Help with coding different types of jQuery sliders
Hi, I have 3 different sliders to code. I am using bootstrap. I coded another jQuery content slider which was fairly simple using bootstrap's own javascript and some CSS. But I am stuck with these three. Any help or plugins that look like any one of these (kudos if more) will be appreciated. loading data from database accordion
I have an accordion that I want to create the tabs from a database loop. so each will have a unique id. when a tab is opened with the id, i want a call to the database to load appropriate data from the database and populate the accordion.

Best practise to embedd video external source
Hi, I'm trying to build an app with phonegap. As frameweork I'm using jQuery mobile. In my app there are several pages (it's a multipage layout) with a video in it. I'm want to use vimeo for this. When I embedd the iframe it plays well, acts fast. But when I leave the page to go to the next one, the audio keeps playing. Because of this I'm using pagebeforehide, in that I'm clearing the source of the iframe. This works great, the audio stops also when leaving the page. But there is another problem

Linking internal .html pages in navbar with JQuery mobile 1.4.5
Is it a bad idea to link 4 different internal pages within your index.html navbar as .html files when your main data role has say for example 3 button links to other pages. I basically want 4 different pages in the navbar than whats on the main first page, but can't do it as # in navbar, they just won't link? what am i doing wrong here? also, when i refresh the width of the 3 buttons on main area go full width but I've set them to 60% in the css, sometimes it does that. Best GIS Icon to use?
Looking at the Icon set, I really don't see a good Icon for a GIS button, basically a "find my address" or invoke the Mobile GIS or a web-based GIS to find my address. Trying to get one column from SharePoint list view
I am a newbie to JQuery. I went through a Lynda.Com tutorial but I still don't quite 'get it' with the selectors. I have a SharePoint view which displays a number with 4 decimal positions and I want to change it to 2. I can't do this with OTOB SharePoint but I should be able to do it with JavaScript and JQuery (if I had the skillset for it.) Copying div from other page
Hello all, is there anyhow to copy the html div from other page without having to load it into another container? I searched a lot and this was the only way that I found out to do so. I've read the documentation and went far in the search for it. .outerHeight returns wrong height if code is inserted before the opening <doctype> tag
Obviously this is user error, but I run into it a lot in our distributed application. People complain that things are not showing up, but the reason why is code has been inserted before the <doctype> tag. In this instance, the jQuery height methods all return the wrong document height. This is easy to reproduce. Use .height on any element to get the proper height. Then insert this before the opening <doctype> tag: <script>var error;</script> Then try again. The height will be wrong. Is this something

How can i put autocomplete suggestions 'on top' ?

Can't find the quirk in my jQuery - need help debugging!
I've been working on some jQuery for a site's navbar and it works for the most part: on the home page the menu icon is clicked to reveal the menu items and once the menu is scrolled out of view, the site's "main" menu becomes fixed to the top of the page. On the rest of the site, the main menu is just fixed to the top of the page. Here's the dev site in action! Was testing my seductiveapps.com software on iPhone 6 recently and found that my dialog resizing routines worked but not the background resizing which uses jQuery(window).width() and .height().. Well, it worked, but only after changing orientation on the damn thing once or twice.. hi there, I'm banging my head for the last 3 days to fix something that looked very simple... I just need a date and time picker at a product in Woocommerce. The best way (i thought...) was to add a attribute to the article and use a time and calander from pickadate.js. Only,... it doesn't show!
