Help putting a variable into an advanced filter / selector
I have 10 svg shapes in a row, left to right, all with the same class st1 . Separate are 10 buttons that set a variable x to the corresponding number; press button 4 and x = 4. What I'd like to do is change the colour of the svg shapes, less than and including 4 turn blue, five and above turn grey. Within a function, this works but isn't what I want. I'd like to replace the numbers in brackets, e.g 4 and 5 in the example below with whatever the value of x is but putting in x doesn't work. I'm new

I have a form, whereby a dropdown has "Please choose state" which has a value of 0 I have wired up jquery form validation and when I press submit all fields are highlighted red which require a value. The problem I'm experiencing is how can I perform validation on that state dropdown when it already has a value of 0. Tabs Widget not working when HREF refers to an HTML file

I did a search div that appears and disappears at the click of a button . Thanks to this input jquery search automatically filters the contents of a div . The problem arises when you press the enter key . The page reloads and the button to bring up the div search no longer works . When I switch from one page to another the script is not always loaded . personal hello. I'm still new to jquery. what I'm trying to do is the following. I have a div and inside it I have several other divs, when I click on one of these internal divs they should raise getting higher than the other adding a class the same (it was done here already), however with these divs raised by clicking empty div another one (example: div id = "container") this div that was once raised must exit the previous div and stay within the div container. thank you very much if you can give

What would cause the difference in filter load speed between Chrome and Firefox?
I have a news aggregator page built using jQuery that has multiple filters based on WordPress categories. The company filter has a large number of companies. When the + button is clicked in Chrome to expand the list and view the list of companies, it takes 6-8 seconds for the entire list to become visible. In Firefox, the list is visible almost instantaneously. Could someone help me investigate what might be causing the difference in load times across browsers?
