Hello, On a mobile site i would like to use a 13x16px image instead of the default dropdown list form arrow. Problem with encodeURIcomponent after android/gmail update
Hello: I have a small web app that collects info and then fires my android phones mail client. It fills in the subject and until recently fills in the body of an email. I then manually send the email. This app has been working up until I updated my phone from kitkat (os) to lollipop. At the same time I think I updated gmail. .finish() on effect won't restore effect (Bug?)
Consider this: $(element).finish().effect("highlight", {}, 4000); When called multiple time, the background color locks onto the state it had when last called, so a double click on the trigger for this will make the element permanently highlighted. Feels like a bug, but is it? When .finish() is called on an element, the currently-running animation and all queued animations (if any) immediately stop and their CSS properties set to their target values. All queued animations are removed.

I am exploring jQuery Form Validaor (By Victor Jonsson) and already liking it so much. There is something I am trying to do with it, but couldn't figure out how to do it yet. Once user accesses given URL, the php page will be displayed. There should be a button clicking on which will display error message for a particular input field. Change div text on click
I have been trying to work out how to change the text inside the div when the button is clicked in the same fashion as the button text is responding. jsfiddle I tried changing the if / else to act on the div rather than the button like so - if ($(".stileone").text() === 'Yellow Box') { $(this).text('Red Box'); } else { $(this).text('Yellow Box'); } but it did not work. How might I change the text in both the button and the div on click please. Any clues would be appreciated
Form select chain event
Hi, i have 3 select boxes which contain categories, sub categories and a further sub category. Is there anyway i can do a chain event so the last 2 are disabled but the first one is enabled. Upon selecting a category in the first form select the second form select becomes available. Then once the 2nd form select has been selected this makes the last one become available. Draggable control not working in IE 9 & IE 10
Hello, We have a project where draggable control is used. The following jqueries are used 1. jquery-ui-1.7.2.custom.min.js 2. jquery-ui-personalized-1.5.3.js But on IE 9 & 10 the control does not work. Can you pls help us to get this issue resolved? SuperFish Menu sub-menu arrow styles
How do I change the style of the arrows on the Superfish menu? I can't find any styles anywhere but my layout stylesheet and it has nothing defining the arrows. Hi all, I'm very new to jquery, and I want to know if I can use it to turn a long html text into shorter 'chunks', like pages of an ebook. want to change calendar in dateinput jquery based on selected days from another textbox
i am using two textbox one for number of days and second for date input. which are working together if i enter number of days in one textbox then the dateinput show the next date by adding days in current date but in calendar date does not change you all can see in the attached image. i want to change the date in calendar as well. kindly help to solve this issue thanks.

Disabling and Enabling Field in Jquery

My requirement , After Filling the data in one text box , the second textbox should get enabled. After Filling the data on the second textbox , the third textbox should be enabled. Hi, I've got a nice asp.net intranet application that I am working with Works great in "http://localhost:4545/" But.. not when running off my server from IE 10, IE 9, IE 11. it is acting like there was no jQuery or CSS. So I'm selecting elements based on their class, for example: $.each($('#gender_chart .nv-slice'), function(i, value) { }); OR $('#gender_chart .nv-slice').each(function() { }); No matter which I use, if I then print out hasClass() for $(this/value), I get false. Calculating Subtotals
I've used jQuery on and off for a couple of years but never enough to fully understand all the features. In the past I've used it to (say) sum up a column of inputs (on blur) and put the sum into a span as a total at the bottom of the column. My challenge this time is that I've got to do subtotals. And I'm stuck. Hopefully the html below is self-explanatory. The html is dynamic but I have full control of it so I could add indexes or extra attributes etc. The number of inputs and subtotals is dynamic/variable.
