About learning Jquery mobile
Hi I have owned a old web site (created by Dreamweaver) which is an online clothing shop which was set up on 2010. So I have below questions: 1.I have realized that the content of my old web page shown on the mobile screen is very small and very inconvenient to be used in the mobile. Therefore, should I need to write a new web page (by using jquery mobile) to meet the mobile needs of just revise some HTML contents in the old version? 2. Anyone can introduce some books or some learning ways

appendTo makes HTML code not to work correctly
Hi, I'm trying to add some HTML code inside a div using appendTo. The HTML code is added and I can see it in the screen, the problem is that I can't "close" the div using the link... but I can "close" the div when the HTML code is loaded in the page (when the HTML is in the website). Simple question about the efficiency of $().addClass
Reading through the jQuery uncompressed code, I noticed a lot of functions have the "proceed" validation variable. Specifically I'm looking at the addClass function: proceed = typeof value === "string" && value; Wouldn't doing a null check first be more efficient? If it were null wouldn't it return false on the first check instead of doing at least two checks? proceed = value && typeof value === "string";
Dialog width is not working in FireFox

I am upgrading jQueryUI from 1.10.4 to 1.11.4. In 1.10.4 there is "base" theme folder. But I am unable to locate similar theme in jQueryUI- 1.11.4. What is the equivalent on "Base" theme of jquery-ui-1.10.4 in jquery-ui-1.11.4 ?

resizable stops working iin a div if a value is assigned to it
I have several divs that I want to position over an image - so I am using draggable and resizable to do this. Everything works fine until I assign a value to the div. Here are my three functions - the first one assigns a value to Div0. As soon as a value is assigned to it the resizable doesn't work for Div0 - the other divs (1,2,3) work fine. Avoid multiple clicks to submit a form in IE...Works well in chrome...
Please find below file code where multiple file upload functionality is given. On click of upload link it opens input file browser window where we select file and then click on submit. In chrome, submit button submits the form on first click but In IE, it does not submit the form on first click. In IE, If we select one file using upload link then submit button submits the form in second click. If we select two file then it submits the form in 3rd click and accordingly. Please let me know how to stop

switching languages -- need to make accessible...
hi, I have a site where you can switch betw two languages, I'm testing for accessibility in FF by turning off CSS.. I'm hiding elements in the non-default language (language that's not the 'current' language... lang is set when pg loads (done w/local storage) or when user clicks on lang cta... right now when load in FF w/o CSS, elements in both lang's load... I'm hiding the non-current lang in jQ by using .hide(), but this does not work when CSS is turned off... but other aspects of JS do work

JQUERY AJAX Success
Good Evening, I have been hunting around for a solution to my problem and I cant find one anywhere! Newbie: tabs to accordion slow?
Hi, I'm facing a weird issue. I used a "easy-tabs-to-accordion" responsive plugin with jQM 1.4.5 and, while it works fine on desktop, but on Android and iOS slows down the jQM page loading on which it is present when there seems to be more entries and/or each entry has longer content. URL redirection after login.

Auto adjust interest rate base on selected terms
I have text field where users will input the terms example, (24,12,8) months, and I have text field for rate where the result of terms and given multiplier will show. I want the rate will auto adjusted when I change the terms. based in given computation. example only: 24 (months) x 0.02 (given) + 1 (given) = 1.48 (rate) The problem is I didn't get the correct result on rate field when I change the terms. any ideas? Getting event object in droppable.accept
As it stands, the `droppable.accept` callback only receives the object to be dropped. What should I do if I want to check the state of, say, shift key (aside from monitoring its state with a global handler; or modifying the jQUI library to pass the object along)?

Selectmenu: custom separator in multiselect
The separator displaying the selected options in a multiselect selectmenu is a comma. This looks strange when options are sentenses with capitals. Jquery interfering with menu function
I designed my site using a Bootstrap One-Page template. Loved the functions, but I wanted to build it so the site will jump to pages rather than scroll down within one page. It's up and built, but the Menu doesn't link. If I remove the <script src="js/jquery-1.10.2.min.js"></script> file my menu works perfect but my galleries no longer work. Checkbox filter
Hi guys. I have a simple HTML table that I would like to filter with checkboxes. Here is my example: http://jsfiddle.net/51wwnyeg/1/. As you can see, if you click on the checkbox, it filters the table and only shows rows with city you clicked on. But my problem is, it only works with one checkbox checked, if I check multiple it doesn't work. Any ideas? Thanks!
